VOCFINU Received an Award.
October 18th The International Alliance For Women ( TIAW ) a nonprofit awarded VOCFINU with the World of Difference Award. It was in recognition for our outstanding contribution in making ” all the difference in the world ” to the economic empowerment of women.
December 2021-Jan 2022 Uganda Visit.
Vocfinu provides 11-year-long educational scholarships for women & girls living in rural Uganda.
1, 150 young girls received sponsorship for their education
2, 60 young girls were enrolled in bakery training
3, 60 young girls were enrolled in training for tailoring
4, We currently have 20 sewing machines
5, We provided medical assistance to the young girls under VOCFINU through medical doctors in Gulu, Uganda
6, We started a Microfinance loan program for women in need in Paminyai village in Gulu, Uganda.
